The terra cotta pots are substantial (though they have only one small drain hole) and the wire holders are nice. However, the packaging was really overdone & environmentally insensitive. The product was packed in a cardboard box with styrofoam inserts (which is what it should have been shipped in). That box was placed inside a significantly larger box that was filled with hundreds of styrofoam peanuts. The 2nd item I ordered was shipped separately in the same disproportionate packaging. Given this wastefulness, I won’t be ordering from at west end again.

<br>AWE: Hi Shopgirl, I'm sorry you found our packaging so wasteful, but there's no need to dread our packing peanuts! They are biodegradable (just add water and they will dissolve). They are made from corn and potato starch and are actually food grade (although we would discourage anyone from eating them ;)
