Painted Wood and Metal Fish Counter Stool
What is the weight capacity of this stool?
by Amy -
The maximum weight capacity is approximately two hundred pounds.
Is the seat curved up on the ends? Was wondering if it could double as an end table on a porch, but being curved, even slightly, would most likely not work. Thx.
by Linda -
Yes, they do curve up on the sides.

Ordered this stool for a coastal look. Is sturdy. The painted wood sections are actually more distressed than I'd expected from the photo. It's actually made in China and a sticker on underside warns of cancer and reproductive harm. Evidently it's due to the paint used? Not disclosed in stool description. That was disturbing. Finally, the packaging was an issue for me. It arrived in a large box to fit stool, filled with those dreaded packing "peanuts." Will not return the stool since it's useful but will be careful in what I order in the future from this company.
AWE: Hi Ann, There's no need to dread our packing peanuts! They are biodegradable (just add water and they will dissolve). They are made from corn and potato starch and are actually food grade (although we would discourage anyone from eating them ;)
Cute and works well

Its cute and rustic. I have it in a coastal themed bathroom and rather than use it as a stool, we tend to put our clean towel or clean clothes we are going to change into after showering on it.
