What size towels fit in the rack? Is this rustproof?

This item can fit a standard towel and think adding a clear coat to the rack will help with rust.

Beautiful BUT...

Love this piece. The color matched my accents perfectly in my Master Bath. It is very heavy and well made, but beware, it came with no hardware. Had to find some on my own and I'm not so sure what I have holding it up makes it secure enough. Would've given it 5 stars if the hardware was included.
