Mother’s Day is such a special day. We spend this day celebrating the strong, selfless women we call “mom”. REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE. Three words that the majority of America is familiar with. I learned this phrase in elementary school where we spent every Earth Day outside. We would spend half of the day planting vibrant yellow and pink flowers around our sweet little city. For the second part of the day, we would pick up any litter around our school. After collecting the litter, our teachers would show us how to separate the papers and plastics into correct bins to be recycled.
