Born in New Orleans and raised in Georgia, Aftan has strong roots in Mississippi. Having parents both native to Mississippi, Aftan spent her summers in Natchez with her grandmother. During these hot and humid Mississippi summers, Aftan's grandmother taught her the craft of crocheting at a very young age. Though it began as a gift-making hobby for loved ones and a much-needed stress reliever during her undergrad years, Aftan’s interest in crocheting quickly grew. Upon her move to Jackson, MS, she acquired new crochet techniques causing her hobby to become her passion! Crocheting has always brought Aftan a sense of joy and connection not only to loved ones but also to Mississippi. Aftan hopes her hard work and dedication to her passion for crocheting and the items she creates will bring you that same connection and joy it brings her!

We fell in love with Aftan's creations at a local market, and knew that we had to share these whimsical accents with you! Whether at the beach, the pool, or a backyard barbeque, these cozies are sure to add a one-of-a-kind flair to your beverage of choice! While we're loving the designs, we're head over heels for the care instructions ;) Just throw them in the wash when you need a refresh, then air dry or put them in the drier on low!
